Epic Road Trip 2024

The epic road trip has begun! We have been talking and planning this trip since the pandemic, and it’s finally happening! New England, here we come.  First destination: Quebec City, where we pick up our new camper, then start our adventures.

Road trips in the car take a special kind of endurance.  Three days in a car will test any relationship. Day one–we are excited and enthusiastic, with every nook and cranny of our truck filled. Day two–stiff joints, knotted necks and bun warp have begun. Day three: getting extra grumpy and trying to endure the last stretch.

After three days we are almost to the finish line–just like a couple of slow snails. We decided to name our new blog Our Snail Tracks, as it describes a couple of slow but steady snails on the adventure of a lifetime. (Another primary reason for the blog name, our new camper has a snail logo on the side.)
