Lake Ontario

Lake Ontario

September 17, 2024

We made our way southwest to Ontario and set up camp at beautiful Sandbanks Provincial Park. It is right on the shores of Lake Ontario, and is full of bike trails, wooded areas, and three sandy beaches. It features a large bay-mouth barrier dune formation separating Lake Ontario from West Lake.  The park is definitely one we would love to revisit. It was perfect for some R&R!

First time we have seen Canadian Geese actually in Canada!
