Our Snail Tracks

November 1, 2024 – Last stop before home: to visit our great cousins in Ohio and sleep in a real bed. They always spoil us with fun and great food. Our first stop was at the quirky “World’s Only Cardboard Racing Museum” in Ripley. This unique museum is filled with cardboard boats that show the creativity and engineering behind this unusual sport.

Each year nearly 70 cardboard boats compete in a Regatta down the Ohio River. The boats range from canoes or kayaks, to vessels shaped like riverboats, cars, a dragon and even a dozen eggs.

We love visiting unique roadside attractions and hidden gems. I definitely recommend the Cardboard Racing Museum!
