Northern Lights

Northern Lights

October 10, 2024

While camping near Bar Harbor, we heard about the anticipated visibility of the Northern Lights. Late one night, we were amazed to see ribbons of green and pink light in the sky. It was almost eerie. We took several photos, which actually show the colors much more vividly than the naked eye can detect.

Northern Lights from our campground. (Camera picks up more vivid light than you can see with the naked eye.)

    Hi Lynn and Scott

What a beautiful set of pictures in your latest blogs. Sorry I was late in checking on them, I did not think you were going to be so prompt and productive. Sorry Acadia park was so busy, but you made the best of it anyway. Such great views of lakes and along the coast. And the quaint towns such as Bar Harbor. Had a good sail with Laurie Sunday. Am doing some of my own chemical warfare on the fleas between exterminator treatments, can’t hurt. Warm weather back this week but cooling this weekend. Can you keep up with the Chiefs and the Royals in your travels.? I wondered about that. It will be interesting to hear about what you discover around Newport, several neat places there I think. All the news for now. Just got your post card today, apparently Canadian mail is a little slower than our. Love You Dad
